How to apply for membership

The formation of the International Society for Philosophers, a sister organization of the Philosophical Society of England, reflects the increasing interest in the Pathways to Philosophy distance learning programs from outside the UK.

You can use this form to apply for life membership of the International Society for Philosophers and/ or one year's membership of the Philosophical Society of England.

International Society for Philosophers

Life membership of the International Society for Philosophers is £15, or £10 if you are a full-time student or retired. Membership of the ISFP entitles you to participate in the Pathways online conference. You are also invited to subscribe to the e-journals Philosophy Pathways and Philosophy for Business.

Life membership of the ISFP is free if you enrol on one of the Pathways to Philosophy distance learning programs, as well as for e-journal contributors.

ISFP members have the option of Open membership. Open members of the ISFP are listed on the ISFP Open Members page.

Philosophical Society of England

One year's membership of the Philosophical Society of England is £15, or £10 if you are a full-time student or retired, and covers two issues of the six monthly printed journal The Philosopher, the longest running journal for general philosophy. Membership of the PSOE also entitles you to participate in the Pathways online conference.
